Record-Breaking IB Results: Hong Kong Students Shine with 63 Perfect Scores

Hong Kong's International Baccalaureate (IB) community is celebrating a historic year. At least 63 students from 15 local schools achieved the perfect score of 45 in the 2026 IB Diploma Programme examinations. St. Stephen's College, a Direct Subsidy Scheme (DSS) school, achieved its best-ever result with five top scorers, surpassing its previous record of three .
Diocesan Boys' School also celebrated five perfect scorers, with 16 students achieving 44 points .
Canadian International School of Hong Kong produced three perfect scorers, and its graduates have received over 1,000 university offers, including from Cambridge and Cornell, with scholarships totalling HK$28 million.
Po Leung Kuk Ngan Po Ling College and Singapore International School each reported one perfect scorer.
